Sadabad Pact and Turkish–Iranian Relations At the Time of Ataturk (1923–1938)
Creating a regional security bloc and maintain the integrity of the boundaries became an important policy of the Republic of Turkey during the time of Ataturk. For this purpose, Turkey made treaties to solve problems and improved relations with her neighbors. Uncertainty of the borders and activities of the tribes were the most important issues in relations with Iran.
